As assistant photographer in New Pokémon Snap, it’s your job to take photos of rare Pokémon in their natural habitats, as well as capturing examples of rare behaviour and phenomena.
And the rarest of all? The Illumina Phenomenon. After
capturing photos of Meganium and Milotic, the third Illumina Pokémon is the Sun
Pokémon, Volcarona, in the Fireflow Volcano Illumina Spot.
This third Illumina Challenge is slightly more complicated
than the last two, and involves you taking photos of a pair of Volcarona when
they exhibit the Illumina Phenomenon. However, before you can activate the
Illumina Phenomenon on the Pokémon, you have to clear the fiery shields
surrounding them.
In order to do this, you need to hit either of one of the
Volcarona with a Fluffruit twice, or each Volcarona once.
The best way to do this is to aim higher, so that the Fluffruit
falls onto the Volcarona at the end of its arc.
The fiery shield will dissipate, and you’ll be able to throw
an Illumina Orb and capture one of the most impressive sights in Pokémon.
